"OUR PURPOSE"

To ensure the safety and security of all people in our city by providing responsive and professional police service.

"Our Vision"

"A community oriented police department committed to serving our community."

On behalf of the LaGrange Police Department, I welcome you to our Internet Center. This site was established as an additional contact source for our community members and our department.

The LaGrange Police Department is committed to fairness, compassion and excellence; providing police services in accordance with the law, while being sensitive to the needs of the public we serve. We are committed to community partnerships through which we can address crime and public safety concerns.

LaGrange Police Department received national accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (C.A.L.E.A.) in July, 1999, and reaccredited in 2002. The agency was State Certified by the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police in 1998.

We encourage you to use this website to obtain information regarding crime statistics, to review Crime Stopper information and scams or flim-flams. You may also use this site to request a copy of incident or accident reports, or obtain information on the Most Wanted persons in our city. The site provides information on the department’s DARE/GREAT program, Neighborhood Watch program and Citizens Police Academy. A national and state register of known sex offenders is also featured, along with an Internet Parents section. This feature explains methods for filtering unwanted or explicit material available to children on the Internet.

This website is just another way the City of LaGrange Police Department seeks to serve its citizens. Any questions, comments or complaints can be e-mailed to me at ldekmar@lagrange-ga.org   I will review them and ensure immediate action is taken to address your concerns.
